National Cigar Smoking Day is the perfect event for all those that appreciate a fine wines, food and cigars.
The second annual National Cigar Smoking Day will take place on January 14th 2010. The main event will be a luxurious 3 course meal at one of the best restaurants in London, Boisdale.
The sumptuous treats you will able to enjoy will seemingly never end as we have selected a fantastic feast with the help of our favourite connoisseur Ranald.
National Cigar Smoking Day Invitation Dinner
Join us at one of the finest restaurants in London, Boisdale of Belgravia, for an exclusive invitation only dining experience to coincide with National Cigar Smoking Day.
Reception
What will prove to be a fabulous evening of fine, food wine, cigars and of course conversation begins at 7.30pm with a Champagne and award-winning Dunkeld smoked salmon canapé reception on Boisdale's legendary Cigar Terrace.
We will move inside at 8pm for a menu carefully crafted to bring you a selection of tastes to tantilise you at every turn.
First Course
Goose foie gras and duck liver parfait with 10 year old Laphroig
Atlantic prawn cocktail with green harissa mayonnaise
Carpaccio of golden beetroot, lambs lettuce & frissèe salad, orange vinaigrette
Wine: Montagny 1er Cru La Grand Roche 2006 Louis Latour
Main Course
The very finest grass fed Aberdeenshire rib eye steak, 28 day dry aged for flavour by Aubrey Allen to be served with Freshly shaved Autumn black truffle, soft polenta, spinach & parmesan
Roast fillet of turbot, wilted leeks with seaweed relish, baby turnips, anchovy & chervil butter sauce
Wine: Chateau Rahoul 2001, Graves
& After...
After enjoying a delicious meal accompanied with the select wines that form the menu we will return to the Cigar Terrace for a selection of Scottish farmhouse cheeses served with grapes, celery & quince jelly, flights of 10 & 15 year old Macallan Whiskies and a deiciously flagrant and smooth Cuban Cigar of your choice.
